The Project Manager will assist in the design, bidding, and implementation of new construction and historic renovations throughout CBC's portfolio. You will coordinate all construction and design activities of the development and property management divisions including, but not limited to, up fits, construction of new buildings, the rehabilitation of existing buildings, master planning, and capital repairs; provide input for the annual operating and project budgets to insure accuracy; manage projects within the allotted budget; maintain the high quality of design and construction throughout CBC's portfolio; coordinate the administration and management of all construction and design contracts, including but not limited to leases, contracts with general contractors, architects, estimators and other resources required to meet obligations; understand current market status and trends. Requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the field of construction management. The successful candidate must be able to handle several priorities simultaneously and make sound decisions quickly and have the ability to balance firm negotiation and effective compromise to seek positive and lasting resolution on issues. Other desired traits include proven leadership ability, property management expertise, leasing and marketing capabilities, advanced construction/engineering knowledge, strong analytical ability and financial acumen, understanding of market economics, and project critical path planning.
